For more information, please contact Lisa Rullman at The Cougar Fund, 733-0797 or email@example.com.
About John Laundré: Dr. Laundré has conducted one of the longest (17 years) studies of cougar ecology and behavior to date and has published numerous scientific articles. He is the originator of the concept of the landscape of fear, which proposed that fear of prey for their predators maintains the balance between prey species and their habitat. He is currently living in Upstate New York where he is a visiting faculty member at SUNY Oswego and is also active in issues concerning cougars in the Northeast. He is the vice-president of Cougar Rewilding Foundation.
